About the Author
Author J.F Lore has always been a huge horror fan, and—having noticed that werewolves have gone out of fashion somewhat as of late—he was excited to create this new offering to the genre.
When he is not watching, reading, or writing horror, Lore enjoys hunting, fishing, cycling, golf (disc and regular), and Muay Thai in Edmonton, Alberta, where he lives, and hopes to soon get back into horseback riding, which he remembers fondly from his childhood.

About the Book
For more than two hundred years, the township of Mink Hills, Manitoba, has been embroiled in a secret war with an enemy profoundly suited to the shadows. Legend has it that werewolves roam the woods outside of town, responsible for the abduction of local children—a few from each generation. Of course, that’s nonsense. Surely, whatever monster is responsible for taking these children is merely human, though clearly lacking in humanity.
But when the son of RCMP Detective Marcus Pope is abducted, along with two other children, and the desperate search takes him and his fellow officers deep into the woods, the werewolf legend becomes an undeniable reality in a vicious attack that leaves officers down and the survivors questioning everything they had ever believed. Enlisting the help of fellow detective Morgan Heart, as well as an ancient werewolf who had been turned against his will centuries earlier, Marcus vows to put an end to the wolf pack’s persistent and pernicious evil and seek justice for everything they’d taken from the people of Mink Hills, and from himself.
